We have a choice in almost every step in our lives. We have a choice of what type of car we drive, where we get our food, and with who builds our houses. So when it comes to Central Oregon home builders, you can’t get much better than the Central Oregon Building Company. Prairie Crossing home builders take quality seriously, and our homes have won awards as a result.
Here’s how Central Oregon Building Company (COBC) was formed.
The Story of COBC
It all started when Rick Williams and Patrick Ginn came together with a dream to build in the city of Redmond. Rick came to the Prairie Crossing project with years of experience as the CEO of Central Oregon Truck Company, while Patrick has an extensive background in housing developments in Central Oregon, including Ranch at the Canyons and the Canyon Ridge Cottage Development, developments in Vancouver, and across Washington. Rick, a Redmond native, owns the land that Prairie Crossing is being developed on, meaning the homes don’t require new construction financing.
Rick has an incredible reputation in the Redmond community and is highly respected while Patrick has a beautiful vision as to what Prairie Crossing will look like and represent for the town of Redmond. Their combined vision is to create a more unique, quality, and fairly-priced development for the deserving Redmond community. Rick and Patrick felt so strongly about quality that they hired a custom home builder and custom home designer to help create the Prairie Crossing vision, which helped lead them to win awards.
The builders behind COBC have won significant awards for both their model home builds and designs. The 2018 awards, presented by Central Oregon Builders Association, are as follows:
Best Interior Finish– $400,000-$450,000 category
Best Architectural Design– $400,000-$450,000 category
