The first day of fall has come and gone. Now we can look forward to shorter days, cooler weather, and all things pumpkin. In order to celebrate, Prairie Crossing is holding our first annual Harvest Festival on October 20th from 12 to 3 PM. As one of the best Redmond events to celebrate the change in seasons, the Harvest Festival will have plenty of activities for the whole family!

Redmond Events: Prairie Crossing Harvest Festival

Oct. 20th 12- 3 PM

Starting at noon on Saturday, Oct. 20, our Harvest Festival will feature the Patti Davis Band playing live music at Prairie Crossing and attendees can tour our new custom-inspired model homes currently being built. There will be hay rides, a pumpkin giveaway hosted by Legacy Realty, a pumpkin decorating contest, a pie contest, and an ongoing bocce ball tournament! If that’s not one of the best Redmond events happening in October, then we don’t know what is!

Just in time for Halloween, we are giving away pumpkins to all Harvest Festival attendees (one per child and three per family while supplies last). Carve these before the end of the month, toast up some pumpkin seeds, or bake your first pumpkin pie. You can also use it to enter our pumpkin decorating contest starting at noon!

After the pumpkin decorating contest, it’s time for pie! Starting at 1 PM will be our pie contest featuring community judges. Is your specialty apple, pecan, or pumpkin? Find out by letting others judge. RSVP to enter your homemade pie for an opportunity to win a prize and the very first title of Best Pie in Prairie Crossing. The judges will all be from the Redmond community, so if you want to show our special guest judges how good you are at baking a pie, join us!

If you are looking for a fun game to play during our Harvest Festival, we will also be hosting a bocce ball tournament. There’s no better way to meet your neighbor than to challenge them to a friendly game of bocce ball. It’s the perfect game to allow you to chat with your competitor as you throw the heavy balls down the court.

Prairie Crossing Community

Prairie Crossing will host many Redmond events in the future. While sticking to traditional autumn activities like hay rides and baking contests, our new community aims to promote environmentally-friendly habits through a connected neighborhood. Meet your new neighbors at Prairie Crossing’s first annual Harvest Festival. It will be one of the best Redmond events of the year!
