Ahh, the holidays. A time for delicious food, thoughtful gifts, and fun winter activities. Central Oregonians arguably have the best playground when it comes to holiday activities. Saturday, Dec. 15, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Prairie Crossing- 4006 SW Badger Ave, Redmond
Have you sent out your holiday photos yet? This may be the holiday event you didn’t think you needed. On Saturday, December 15, Prairie Crossing will host a special holiday photo session for your pet and Santa Claus. Santa’s helpers from Legacy Realty will be there organizing the event and donations will go to Bright Side Animal Shelter in Redmond. While you’re there, you can tour our model homes at Prairie Crossing.
Holiday Village Market
Friday-Saturday, Nov. 23-24; Saturdays, Dec. 1, 8, 15• 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Centennial Park, Redmond
Downtown Redmond will be bustling with local shoppers, crossing friends and family off their gift list. The Redmond Chamber of Commerce presents the Holiday Village Market every year at Centennial Park. Local vendors will sell arts and crafts, and other holiday goodies. Santa will be there for photo opportunities on Dec. 1, 8, and 15.
Charm Stroll, Girl Scout Blessing Bags and Visit Santa Claus
Saturday, Dec. 15, Noon – 4 p.m.

On Saturday, Dec. 15, downtown Redmond will be busy! During the Charm Stroll, there will be live music, refreshments, and lots of opportunities for giving. Participants in the event can bring donations to Herringbone Books on SW 6th St. between noon and 4 p.m. Local Girl Scout Troop 68 will make blessing bags with the donations for the homeless to be passed out via the Redmond Police Station, St. Vincent DePaul, NeighborImpact, and Redmond VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars). The Redmond Chamber of Commerce is asking for specific donations this year:

Participants in this Redmond Oregon event will receive a bracelet charm for each donation. David Haffey Fine Jewelry on 6th St. will put the charms on a bracelet for $10.
Santa Claus will also be at the Charm Stroll, there to visit with all the children of Redmond to hear their Christmas wishes.
Gingerbread House Contest

Downtown Redmond Businesses

For the past five years, Redmond has held a town-wide gingerbread contest. People of all ages can compete, and the competition is open to the public. Redmond Ice Skating Rink
Downtown Redmond Plaza, Across from Centennial Park
The Redmond Ice Skating Rink will be open through the holidays. Ice skating is a quintessential winter activity for the whole family, and the downtown Redmond rink is a popular holiday event.
Prairie Crossing: Redmond Oregon Events
Redmond is a beautiful place during the holidays; downtown is decorated, there is usually some snow, and the Community Tree is bright and lit up, getting everyone in the holiday spirit.
